In this new role, Ms. Barosy will work alongside future student leaders, and oversee and implement strategic processes for the nonprofit, as well as lead its marketing efforts.
A Lake Worth resident, Ms. Barosy holds degrees from Palm Beach State College, Valencia College and the University of Northern Colorado. She is fluent in English, Creole and American Sign Language. She also is a member of Leadership West Palm Beach, and recently completed the New Leaders Council leadership program.
Executive Women name 2022-2023 officers
Katie Klause-Newitt, vice president of A-1 Moving and Storage, was named 2022-23 president of Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation. She was sworn in at the EWPBF annual meeting and installation event at Seasons 52 in Palm Beach Gardens on May 25.
During the annual meeting, Denise Mariani was announced as Member of the Year and Vivianne Hall was announced as New Member of the Year.
The 2022-2023 EWPBF officers include: President Katie Klause-Newitt; Vice President of Resource and Development Fundraising Kae Jonsons; Vice President of Programs and Education Jackie Halderman; Vice President of Community Outreach Christine Pitts; Secretary Angie Francalancia; Immediate Past President Amy Brand; Treasurer Cindy Pollack; Treasurer Elect Alyssa Dhawan; and the 2022-2023 board of directors include: Jessica Clasby, Sailynn Doyle, Lena D’Amico, Elizabeth Hamma, Cecilia Hudnet and Trixy Walker. ¦
