Cynthia Allen Gracey (1953-2017)


Cynthia Allen Gracey was born on June 5, 1953 in New York, N.Y., the daughter of John Allen and Isabel Allen Furlaud.

She graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1975 with a degree in Political Science. She went on to earn her law degree from Villanova University in 1980. Cynthia practiced law in Palm Beach County for nearly 7 years.

Cynthia, with her wisdom and strength, founded the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches in 1982, an organization dedicated to Empowering Women to succeed and Lead in the workplace and their community. At the time, it was the only organization dedicated to working executive women.

35 years later, Executive Women of the Palm Beaches is 180 members Strong and carrying on the work Cynthia envisioned.
