Job Title Chief Executive Officer

What I Do  Ensure the fiscal, operations, fundraising, marketing, human resource, technology, and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented across all segments of the organization.  Carry out policies and procedures, managing overall operations, including personnel supervision and administration, hands-on daily financial management, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, building the annual budget and coordinating the annual audit.  Enforce financial policies and guidelines to ensure the organization’s assets are protected, utilized effectively, internal controls are adequate, and investment returns optimized in compliance with the organization Financial and Investment Policies.  Ensure that the organization is in compliance with all federal and state regulations and has sufficient internal controls to operate in accordance with new or revised regulations.  Oversee the organization’s annual budgeting process and monthly financial tracking. Produce monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors.  Provide vision and leadership to the Board and staff, ensuring that the organizational values of collaboration, cooperation and consensus are upheld personally and fostered within the organizational culture.  Established with the Board and staff the implementation of the 3-year Strategic Plan; provide regular evaluations of progress toward those goals and strategies.  Create and maintain strong relationships with non-profit organizations and community leaders throughout Palm Beach County in order to understand and articulate evolving needs in the community.  Serve as a facilitative leader, catalyst, and resource for nonprofit organizations providing services to our communities.  Elevated the level of leadership, influence and recognition of the organization in the county; build a reputation for being an indispensable part of the community’s leadership.  Formulate and executed comprehensive marketing, branding and development strategies that will ensure consistency throughout the organization and enhance revenue from major donors, foundations, government agencies, and corporations.  Increased and raised the visibility of the organization throughout the county.  Assist in the preparation of grant and contract proposal budgets and reports.  Lead and developed the organizations 3-year Strategic Plan and budgetary prioritization.  Created a strong development plan to help with driving numbers up and decreasing our bottom line as it relates to donors  Developed and implemented new marketing strategies to include social media, collateral, revision of website, and PR in order to drive and maximize the organizations brand, business development and strategic initiatives.  Implemented the organization’s internal audit unit to ensure accountability from all agency funded programs and initiatives.  Ensure provision of quality services for people supported through the organization’s funds are and supported.  Developed and implemented the organization monitoring tools to track data and outcomes from non-profits receiving financial support from the organization.  Developed the organization’s Technical Assistance tool in order to help identify challenges and highlight areas of improvements.  Maintain familiarity, knowledge and compliance of all contractual obligations and assure standards are met.  Created a culturally diverse team and ensured staff participated in professional development training to perform their roles effectively.
