Job Title Director of Communications
What I Do The Director of Communications is responsible for developing and implementing an integrated communications and public relations plan that supports the strategic objectives of the foundation. The director is responsible for establishing the foundation’s brand and visual identity standards for multiple target audiences. The role also leads and directs the foundation’s community health campaigns that are designed to influence behaviors that lead to improved health outcomes in Palm Beach County. Other responsibilities include establishing the digital marketing/social media and website objectives of the foundation and managing the voice and personality of all aspects of the foundation’s online and social media presence. The Director of Communications works with the President/CEO, Executive Vice President and the Director of Stewardship and Strategic Partnerships to strategically plan, negotiate, implement, oversee and evaluate the foundation’s marketing and public relations efforts to heighten visibility and public awareness of the foundation’s mission and programs and garner public support. Working with the foundation’s leadership team, the director will create communications opportunities and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them, and weigh in on strategic planning, implementation, and reporting processes.
