Amy Brand, CEO of Philanthropy Tank, has been a member of Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation for five years.
“I wanted to join an organization with other women in senior leadership roles that could provide guidance, support, and fellowship,” she said.
As a leader in Palm Beach County’s nonprofit community for more than 25 years, she brings a great knowledge of the community, integrity, and a commitment as a servant leader to the organization. Brand has generously shared her extensive leadership skills in various positions at EWPB. She co-chaired the Women in Leadership Awards Committee in 2019. This year, she’ll serve as vice president of community outreach. And she also is president-elect, slated to lead the organization beginning in 2021.
Brand said she has cherished helping women advance through EWPB.
“The core of our mission is to assist other women in their efforts to succeed and lead. I always enjoy hearing from our recently awarded scholarship recipients. It’s rewarding to see the efforts of EWPB impacting other women who would otherwise not have an opportunity to pursue their education and career interests.”
She looks forward to connecting to the community and mentoring others to attain their goals.
“EWPB provides a unique sisterhood that I have greatly enjoyed being a part of- the connection and friendships have been invaluable,” she said.
